We invite you to join us at our meetings, which are held monthly except for December. All meetings are open to non-members and are free. Meetings—except for the September picnic—are held on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM, at Holder’s Country Inn. See below for directions to the meeting.
Dinner is available for ordering in the meeting room; plan to arrive 30-40 minutes early to place your order and enjoy informal conversations with other members before the formal start of the meeting at 6:30 PM. In addition to the evening’s main presentation the meetings usually include a raffle, Civil War quiz, announcements, discussions, and stimulating conversation related to all aspects of the Civil War.
COVID-19 Guidance
In-person SBCWRT meetings, which are resuming July 27, 2021, will be governed by the policy “Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings,” as provided by California’s Department of Public Health as of June 21, 2021:
- Vaccinated people (those who have received complete dosages of approved vaccines at least two weeks in the past) do not need to wear masks.
- Unvaccinated people are required to wear masks in indoor public settings and businesses, like: Retail, Restaurants, Theaters, Family entertainment centers, Meetings, and State and local government offices that serve the public.
The SBCWRT will assume that all attendees who are not wearing masks are self-certifying that they have been vaccinated.

Effective February 2023, and until further notice, meetings will be held at Holder’s Country Inn Restaurant located at 10088 N Wolfe Road, Suite 130, Cupertino, CA 95014, across from the former Vallco Fashion Mall, as well as via ZOOM. (Please disregard the San Jose address and map below.
